Back to the present, Goyle figures out the current situation of the world, learns what everyone else has been learning, that Omega has been defeated and that some wave had caused himself and all the other metas or 'deviants' to disappear, but he also notices some other oddities as well, and discovers that his whole home world may have been affected as well, and it could be all his fault.

From this point in the series, Goyle will focus most of his efforts on finding and defeating all of these monsters who have just been relocated away from their homes, many of which are incredibly dangerous, already have a hatred towards humans, and now have many reasons to be in an incredibly cranky mood. Goyle will also have to figure out a long term solution to all of these monsters suddenly appearing in the human world without anyplace for them to return to. Many of the creatures he's going to be running into are going to be relatives, friends, and former neighbors, so many of these stories are potentially going to get very personal for Goyle. He's also going to be dealing with the loss of his job and home, as well as getting used to the sudden hatred of deviants that the public now holds. It's going to be strange for Goyle, because ever since moving into the human world, he's always found that he fit in better with humans than with monsters, and he's managed to find success in the human world due to his intellect and hard work, but is no losing his job simply because he's different. Simply put, Goyle's not in a happy place right now, and he's going to be taking out his frustration by blasting some monsters.
